every morning i wake up and look in the mirror. i dont like what i see. i dont like my round chest, or what im lacking between my legs. and of course, i cant do anything about it, because im underage. but im expected to "love my body" and "be happy with who i am" becuase body positivity is the new trend. well, i hate my body. i cant help it. i look at all my wrong parts and i cry my eyes out, because i dont belong here.

I'm a bit late, but just wanted to say that I understand where you are coming from. The feelings you describe are all too familiar to me. It's a hard place to be. It doesn't last forever, but man, it sure does feel like it when you're there.

It's a different thing than not liking something about your body. That is to say, not liking aspects about your body is rooted in a different problem than gender dysphoria. (sidenote: Just as there's no shame in having the body one has, there's also no shame if you feel shame. No sense in invalidating one aspect of a person for another =] )

So, the reason of GD is different as well as the way one experiences it - therefore, the way it's treated is also very different.

Do you have any support where you are? Is there a Pride group nearby that you can phone or e-mail?

Hang in there my friend

How old are you exactly?
Don't worry you'll soon be able to get treatment!
