My Mood: Officiating the result with a therapist?

Default Officiating the result with a therapist?

My overall score was 65.

However, there were several concerns, most of which were obvious to me like anxiety. The suprise one was the possibility of me having a mild bi-polar (bi-polar II) disorder. I know it's not a diagnosis, but I feel like I'm supposed to share this with my counselor. And if I do, she will give me a test and could really diagnose me with it and make it "official" on paper. I'm scared of being judged for being a bi-polar, as I believe that the general population (unless they are on PC) will view it negatively At the same time, if I have it, I want to manage it at its earliest stage.

Should I share the result with my counselor? (I mean, it's also possible that I don't have it...cross my fingers).

There is actually no test for bipolar. Diagnosis is only made after a very lengthy interview, sometime self-report questionnaires, and evaluation of your symptoms. It can take years to get a bipolar diagnosis so no, she isnít going to give you a test and then slap a label on you.

Worst case you are bipolar - so what? It means you can start getting the treatment you need to live life fully.

People judge you based on how you act. I have natural tendencies to talk way too much. I did what I had to and solved that issue.. I know it is a medical thing. Body Chemistry. So what? If they judge you for that, why would you want anything to do with them.
