OMG, it was so hot today, down to 92 now. I didn't even let any of our 3 cats out. One of our cats is a real hunter, loves the outdoors; she was not very happy with me at all. Tomorrow, the high is 100 degrees with God knows what heat index.
Sometimes, I feel like this part of Texas has 2 seasons: summer and not-summer.

99 degrees. Heat index 107. Even for this area of Texas, it's record heat. They are setting up cooling centers in the county library system.
