When I was in my late teens my mother used to come into the bathroom only when I was in the shower and say I am going to get ya and act like she was going to pinch me.

Nope, that's weird to me. Invading someone's privacy when they're in the shower is creepy.

Sounds like she was just poking fun to me (mostly because my mother is like that), but I don't know you're mother, so I can't tell if it's weird or not. If you told her to stop and that you didn't like it and she kept doing it, that's def suspect.
