Default Posting in forums used to be easier.

I was thinking about how when I was younger (I'm 24 now), I found it easier to post on forums. And I thought it could be because somehow along the way I came to believe that I didn't have anything to say that really mattered, or that I'd be ignored. I don't know when, where, how, or why this is/was, and it's just a thought that came to me. I'm always dubious about the things I think of anyway.

Discuss?

tonstwo, it could be because you have matured. Teenagers tend to think that everyone is watching them and what they say is important. Or maybe if you had low self-esteem as a teenager, now that you have matured, you have become more aware of how little people often notice. But we all do matter, and what we say here is important to you (or anyone here who posts thinks what they say is important to them), and we as "fellow sufferers" will likely understand. Hmm. Does that make sense? Oh, well, I tried.

I've never thought of it that way but it does make sense. I did start to notice in general just how few people notice. I guess I did mature if that is the case. And it's better to think of it that way.

I agree that we and all that we want to say, do matter.
