Default Social anxiety question

Hey guys

I have a situation it's occure so often
Whenever I go and meet some friend I have good time with them
But when I leave them then I will start judging myself for every single thing I said and my actions every I will see everything from disgusting why feel bad
And even I go deeper creat seances in my head like my friend laughing at me after I left the big problems is I can't let go of this thought it hunts my all the time I try to read or cook this though will pop up I don't have any control now Its 3:50 am Where I live I cant sleep cause today I met some friends so my question do anyone have similar experiences? Is this related to social anxiety?
Is there anything can be done to help with thoughts

Thanks for reading

Hello Ameerxz: Thanks for joining us here on PC. I see this is your first post. So... welcome to Psych Central.

We here on PC cannot offer mental health diagnoses. Plus I'm not a mental health professional. So I can't really offer anything with regard to what may be going on with you. Based on what you wrote, though, it does sound as though you are, perhaps struggling with some social anxiety along with what is sometimes referred to as "rumination". So here are links to 10 articles from Psych Central's archives. The first 6 offer tips on how to manage social anxiety. The last four discuss how to address the problem of rumination:

Social Anxiety Overview

Social Anxiety Disorder Treatment

6 Ways to Overcome Social Anxiety

7 Ways to Overcome Shyness and Social Anxiety

How to Be Less Self-Conscious

I hope you find PC to be of benefit.

Sorry this is bothering you and yes can relate to how you feel. When I go out in a group I don’t know well I really feel similar to what you are describing. On the other hand if I go out with one or two friends I know really well I worry less how I am perceived and can truly enjoy myself.
