Heart Re: Anyone have trouble falling asleep.

I have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. I have tried many approaches and currently use temazepam nightly.

Should you use Benadryl nightly?
Does it work for you?
If so, please ask your pharmacist or doctor if it's safe to use each night.

My pdoc has told me Benadryl does not give high quality sleep; yet, you can check with your doctor/pharmacist about this.

Sweet dreams!

Even when I was prescribed sleeping pills, it was directed in a way that said it works better to take for a night or two to readjust my sleep. Then I would get back to even keel. It was expressed to me that it's an as needed type of medicine.

And my sleep disorder was more a result of not sleeping through the night.

What does your doctor recommend?
