Heart Something SIMPLE that AIDES SLEEP!

My MD told me to take a half a washed banana and soak it (WITH THE PEAL ON) for at least 5 minutes in boiling water and then drink the water, then peal and eat the banana. She said that this would give me the minerals I need in order to get a good night's sleep. Ever since I have been doing this, I have been sleeping MUCH better!

I asked my best friend, who is a retired nurse, why this is helpful. She said that when you take in something in liquid form, that it is much more easily absorbed by the digestive system. That makes sense!

Let's all do this and get some better sleep.

That's really interesting and worth trying.I guess the worst that could happen is having to get up and pee at night.

How much water are you supposed to use btw?

Just enough to cover the banana. I put mine into a tall narrow coffee cup, so that there is not a lot of liquid being used. So, maybe I use about a half a cup of water?

When youíre my age, you ALWAYS have to get up and pee at night.

What worries me is getting older and losing the sensation of having to pee.

It could be that the RITUAL acts as a relaxant as I know of nothing coming from a boiled one-half banana that would act as a sleep hypnotic (e.g., Ambien).
