Default Things you miss from the past

I miss catalogs from stores such as Sears and Penney's. I used to enjoy looking at them, picking out Christmas "want" lists from them, and cutting out "paper dolls" from them. They were also handy in "outdoor plumbing."

Manners. Placing value on being courteous instead of aggressive.

I get catalogs from expensive retailers, probably because in the past I have bought from cheaper places. Contributing to charities will also get you on loads of mailing lists, all asking for -- you understand -- money. If they all had their way, I would have nothing left for myself.

Oh, yeah, those little catalogs. I'm talking about those big, thick ones with clothes for the whole family and tons of items in all different catalogs.

I miss gas station attendants that pumped your gas and checked your oil.

(I miss the big catalogs too )

I miss the innocence of my childhood, when I could just play outside in the garden. No responsibilities and all the sad cards buried a lot further down in the pack.
