Hello. I've entered keyword to search gangstalking and it led me to this thread. I know this is relatively an old thread, but I really want to be educated about this.

First of all, there are at least a couple of possible causes for all events:

1). It can be real
2). Or you could be seeing it because of mental illness

Take for example, something as simple as you seeing an envelope in your mailbox. The envelope could really be there; or you could be seeing an envelope when it is not there due to mental illness.

So I do believe that gangstalking is just as real as any other event in the world. But I also believe that some people could see something that is not reality because of mental illness. And this is not restricted to gangstalking but with all of the events in the world.

So being that gangstalking really exists, I don't know why it is in the Schizophrenia/psychosis section. Do therapists diagnose you with mental illness when you talk about these things? Or does the trauma of gangstalking lead to psychosis?

I am kind of wondering why you chose to go Anonymous to discredit the O.P.'s belief, when we don't even use our real names on PC. Do you have some reservations about saying that this is a lie?

I'm so sorry to read this. These people were abusive. Abusers sometimes use your mental illness to deny their abuse.
