Default Women Who Run With the Wolves

Is anyone familiar with this book?

While on the surface it seems more for those in the Feminine Spirituality movement I think much of it applies to women regardless of belief system. There is something in the book for all women at whatever stage they are in life.

I keep rereading the book (I've had six copies over the last two decades and I just bought another) and discovering that new parts speak out to me. This book has been very helpful to me in the past and I feel a sense of 'home' picking it up again. The problem is I keep giving my copies away to friends I feel could benefit from it.

I remember when the book came out, it was hugely popular.

i have not read the book, tho i remember it made quite an impact when it was first published... being a long time feminist and spiritualist, i somehow just did not feel the need for that kind of guidance. i'm glad to hear it's still out there, tho, and that you are spreading it around~~

Essentially, the book is a Jungian Psychanylalitical self-help manual.

It's been a long time since I read it, but I feel that different stages of life experience may present different perceptions of this book. Not sure I still have my hard back copy, but I think reading it now would be much different from the times I have read it in the past.

I used to have a hard copy, but now I have a digital one. It's still just as powerful now as it ever was.

oh my gosh, I have that book somewhere. You'll not guess where I found it. I was exploring an abandoned house and it was in the garden with a pile of other books all wet from rain and dirt. I must find it and read it!

Is this going to be a literary version of A Waking Life in which my sense of surreality rises to the point where I'm not really sure if I'm entirely "real" myself? Or some other conclusion?

Also, Jung over Freud any day.

I found that book was so depressing and not at all helpful.Maybe I was not intelligent enough to get it's message. It was a dark, lurking kind of vibe,I recall it went on about little girls being stalked and murdered. What put me off was the writer seemed to be claiming she was more spiritual and there fore superior to the rest of us.
