Gus1234U Thanks for telling me what a Buddhist is and is not. I used to want to be a Buddhist nun and live in the woods of Northern Cal with other 'Buddhist nuns.' I used to want to be an Isha yoga student under a guru, used to want to be a Christian, and a Taoist, but the fit was never quite right. I don't want to be anyone's student, not wholly anyway, I don't want only one teacher, I am a seeker, I play with many colors on many different days. There is not only one way, that is what I have found so far. There is no magic solution or one fits all.

I also am a fan of Steiner, Alan Watts, Rumi, Blavatsky and many others.

Big fan. His book The Power of Now I highly recommend for anyone who feels lacking spiritually without the need for religion.

Alan Watts has been mentioned above. I have found his words and his mind very useful in tackling those feelings of not quite fitting in with the world. He can also be very funny which can help lighten the mood sometimes.
