My Mood: anyone try any meal programs like south beach or weight watchers?

Default anyone try any meal programs like south beach or weight watchers?

I am looking into healthy meal programs for healthy eating and meal programs delivered to your door with healthy shakes and low carb food.

Has anyone tried the south beach diet or weight watchers or something similar and got good results?

I lost 30 pounds once on wt watchers. Great because I love protein and vegetables. Might take forever if you donít. I donít like frozen meals so Jenny Craig might not work for me. I do crave carbs and fast food esp when Iím stressed. I get rundown and catch colds when I use those diet shakes for 2 meals a day. Vigorous exercise, water aerobics 3-6 times a week is great because it also desstresses me and helps w my bipolar. My h has med problems so meal prep is complicated for me. Good luck!

Thanks I might just try something like Qsymia which decreases your cravings for unhealthy food, increases your metabolism and decreases your appetite.

Dr Joel Wallach has a great book of info, and a website (type this in, don't search engine it Critical Health News ) He shows where the body was made to heal itself (including weight) but we lack nutrients in today's foods.

I have been on every plan there is ..unless it came out in the last 4 years... but I found some things that worked for me, then found Dr Wallach's book (Dead Doctors Don't Lie) and he supported what I had found and then taught me more.

GLUTEN is bad for people and animals. It STOPS the digestive process and then the body stores everything as fat. ... there's so much more to healthy eating...especially eat REAL food like pure beef, chicken, butter, high fat yogurt etc. and NO oils of any kind (they all become rancid in our systems).. none. No fake sugar, no sugar at all is best (except in fruit etc)...

My excess weight dropped off me just from cutting out white foods and all gluten (even my dog is gluten free so I don't cross contaminate)...

I also added in minerals... like, for me, when I lack zinc I crave everything to eat! And I need high vitamin C...

but you can search those things out for your own body good wishes!
