For those who have taken the Myers-Briggs personality test, do you agree with the result?

Not really some was spot on but other aspects I find horribly wrong. Overall it was more wrong than right.

Not really. I have taken it three times and have gotten two different results.

testhttps://forums.psychcentral.com/question-of-the-month: for two major reasons. One is that thousands of people have invested time and money in becoming MBTI-certified trainers and coaches. As I wrote over the summer, it’s awfully hard to let go of our big commitments. The other is the “aha” moment that people experience when the test gives them insight about others—and especially themselves. “Those who love type,” Murphy Paul writes, “have been seduced by an image of their own ideal self.” Once that occurs, personality psychologist Brian Little says, raising doubts about “reliability and validity is like commenting on the tastiness of communion wine. Or how good a yarmulke is at protecting your head.”

I don't pay much mind to Myers-Briggs tests anymore.

Last few times I took the test it said I am an INTJ. It's cool and all being the rarest personality type but I tend to differ somewhat from the usual INTJ.

For instance, I learn far better by doing than reading, yet most INTJs are supposed to be good at learning by reading. I'm also more motivated by pleasure than knowledge and I find it difficult to plan more than a few years ahead.

Despite everything else though, I am damn good with tech and I excel both at strategy based video games and playing chess. I also am strong at short term planning, where I can plan things 6-12 months from now that most people wouldn't even think about.
