It depends on the person and what they want out of life.

I think I'm successful. I have a good family. My children are on their way to figuring out what they want to be when they grow up. My middle child is a single father and doing a pretty good job. We have a roof over our heads an enough food too eat. Some day the goal is to have a roof in a rural setting. We are on track to that goal. All things considered that is successful to me. My parents wouldn't agree but that's their problem not mine

I too have a wish to reside in a smaller town...Far away from the city madness...enjoy the simple things in life....
When I was a kid people used to ask me what do you want to be when I grow up...now I would answer them, I want to be a child again...

You set reasonable, attainable goals and then go after them. You take your meds and attack your illness, and you honor your friends and family. You act like a compassionate person in society and not a fu*kwit. Biggest one for me, because my illness wants to isolate me and make me lonely, is to stay engaged with society and with life.

I do not know whether I am successful unless or until someone lets me know, but I do believe I will have failed if I ever quit trying...

Success to me is being happy. The means are different and subjective. Personally, I'd be happy if I could acquire a permanent state of peace of mind. It's a spiritual approach.

Getting out of bed everyday and not crying.

Having my family in my life, keeping them close and loving them.

Having a good relationship with my woulmate who will one day be my husband.

Just being alive to see another day.

I think it would be fulfilling your dreams, whatever they are. I don't really
know since I don't consider myself successful.
