I don't like elevators, roaches, loud noises and this guy that advertises a local furniture store I won't even go in the store for fear I will run into him and he'll do his arm twirly thing.

I can't cope with being near wasps either kd. But strangely, flies and bees cause me no worries whatsover. I am even aware of whether there is a wasp (rather than any other insect) near me just from the sound.
I have to control this phobia at school, and I am mostly OK there is a wasp comes into the classroom. But I freak out if one comes round my head - I freeze totally.
The other thing I don't like is heights - but only in certain situations. LIke, I am fine in planes or funfair rides, but I can't bear to be near the edge of a drop - or for those I am with to be near edges either.

I have a pretty bad phobia of wasps nd bees. I'd run into the road infront of a car if i had to just to get away. Last year around september, i was on a checkout at work and a wasp flew beside me and went into the bit underneath the till and i just about had a full blown panic attack whilst serving a customer, and all the time the cardboard cutter that was attached to my skirt kept hitting of my leg and i thought it was the wasp...it was soo scary.

They freak me out so much.

I have a phobia of apples. Doubt there is a name for it. Can't stay in the room with an apple, even smell of them at other end of supermarket terrifies me (very inconvenient). Can't even watch an apple on TV, let alone someone eating one irl. Do you have a phobia of something?
Apples are everywhere, very hard to avoid sight & smell.
THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

I think to have a fear of something is all in your head that doesn't really exsist. Yea, also adds to anixety but I've recently confrounted my phobia of evaltors in small spaces. The rule for me was 1. Have someone with you, just in case. 2. Don't feel pushed to do something your unhappy about. 3. Image another thoughts or have a distraction.

There can be reasons for why you have got a phobia.
Could be the past of what happend to do with something.
Or something that doesn't feel safe at all.
etc...
I just moved on and let go of my fear.
Now I can choose if I want to do it again or not.

I have a phobia of spiders, heights, people and what they are thinking, cops, and small spaces.
