Confused New Psychiatrist

Tomorrow, at 10:40 A.M (EST) I have an appointment to see a new psychiatrist. My last appointment with a new psychiatrist was around 2, 3 years ago. I do not remember much of it, therefore, it cannot help me in this new situation. I see an elderly man who frightens me. New situations, new people create enough fear in me, but it adds to the fact he is an elderly man. I am scared shitless for this appointment. Does anyone have any advice to get through it/bring up what I need?

Hey you out there on your own
Sitting naked by the phone
Would you touch me?
Hey you with you ear against the wall
Waiting for someone to call out
Would you touch me?

Personally I'm always terrified to see a new therapist because you don't know what to expect and you are in a position where you are extremely vulnerable. Do you have the option of changing if you don't like him/her? If you do maybe it might help to bear that in mind.

Thank you, I'll keep it in mind.
