Default rethinking how dyslexia gets the support deserved.

The above article discusses how parents are making it a point that children with dyslexia are getting the right support when it comes to their education. This is something dear to my heart in that as a mother of a dyslexic child myself, I had to constantly make it a point to sit with my daughter's teachers and make them aware of her challenges and help her verses punishing her or ignoring her needs.

Remember, just because someone learns differently doesn't mean that individual lacks in intelligence in any way. Often these children ARE actually very intelligent.
