Default Lowering lamictal within the intent to stop

Iíve been on lamictal almost 12 years and with my psychiatrists approval I am attempting to lower it again. The last time I tried to do this I wasnít ready but my life is different now. Iíve down from 300mg to 250mg, 200mg is next.
Anyone else gone off lamictal?
