Love to all here
Been there - many, many times. There now. All I can say is to try to block them out .. distract yourself, ignore them, etc. I know it's weak bc even I can't do it most times .. but if you have something to distract and then some relaxation exercise or coping technique, it works .. otherwise - distraction just feels hollow to me. Sorry. *hugs*

Then that is about sick world out there

And not about me.

I agree with you 100% here.

I refuse to beg anymore. If they call me crazy, I look at them and say "yep, I got the papers to prove it - what's your excuse?!" Or "there is no normal - so, everyone is crazy, it's the ones that won't admit it that are the worst among us". Then if they come at me with "you need help", I say "yeah, well no one seems to understand the meaning of that word, when you find someone who does, look me up". Then I walk on. Got tired of smart jerks long ago.

But this person I am dealing with now happens to be a neighbor that knocks on my door - not so easy to get rid of her.

This is why I learned to take the info I needed from them, then I used it .. did research on my own, and helped myself.

I have found this approach, to be the most helpful.

Researching online and connecting with others who have similar health worries can help us ease our symptoms but there is no cure. I have come to accept that it is more about managing my living nightmare.

For me there are good days and bad days, getting by using all I have learnt. It is the ugly days that still get me....

I can accept they don't have the knowledge or training to help us but I can't fathom for the life of me, why they need to blame us for our lot. Surely if you have any training in mental health, you would know that a kind and caring approach is required.

Exactly! My bad days are infrequent now and I try to keep the natural things I have found to help around, but sometimes they are not on hand and I don't have money to get them so I start spiraling til I either get the money or the episode relaxes but it is nowhere near what it used to be. I find we help ourselves best. Even the docs always told me "I can tell you what to do, but you have to do the work." So finally I had had enough .. and took matters into my own hands. ❤
