Default DBT - Mindfulness - and Deep Breathing

Have you wondered what mindfulness is?

Here is a great video explaining it, which includes instructions on how to do deep breathing exercises. I had heard of deep breathing before, but always missing the part about moving the belly in and out. Finally, I feel a difference with just this one tip!

The deep breathing is a wonderful thing to do and always brings you back to the moment. Right this second everything is ok right?
Yoga is phenomenal for both body and mind!

I haven’t been deep breathing at work (just at home). My therapist says I need to do three deep breaths throughout the day.

Google Belleruth Naperstek. She has an amazing Depression CD that I've listened to dozens and dozens of times since I was 16. She does Guided Imagery and Affirmations. I absolutely love the guided imagery.

I needed to do these last night, and Im doing some breathing now. I woke up with anxiety as I often do, and this helps to dissipate it.
