Default Just granted disability

So i was granted disability after just 30 days, no appeal, no lawyer. They'll be doing reviews every 3 years. I'm kind of shocked but i do believe certain strategies matter, along with your treatment resistant history. I did need the mental health interview, which i believe was critical I'm offering to answer questions here or in PM. I know it can be frustrating and confusing process. I know too that depression, such as it is, will leave many just not caring about their financial security. I've been there. But i can assure you that not having to worry about that quite so much can in fact help Now some basic info as a starting point... Age: 32 Other ailments that might have factored: no, just seasonal allergies Where i applied: Michigan Treatment history: Off and on ADs but really gave it a go from 2012-2013. Also attempted ECT in 2014 (good results but intermittent) and at a different place in 2016 (no help and the memory loss was like early on set dementia) Work history: Abysmal from 1998-2012. However, i went back to finish my degree at that time and completed a research job and then worked after i graduated until feb. 2016 So...any questions?

I finally got back on disability but it took 2 years. Judge could not believe I wasn't put on it much sooner. Had a lawyer at the appeal.

I was approved within 2 months, no lawyer, no appeals, about 12 or 13 years ago.

It is not common, but it does happen. So glad you got approved.

Geez, sorry my post didn't format better. I was told that MI disability almost never happens, so thought my experience might be useful. But seems it's not unique either heh
