My Mood: Finally, finally, finally!

Smile Finally, finally, finally!

Haaaah, after years n' years of feeling super empty n' worthless n' horrible, I think I'm finally starting to feel better!
I started taking citalopram a few weeks ago (to my mom's dismay, she didn't think it would work since fluoxetine didn't do any wonders for me), and the entire time I was legitimately terrified that it wouldn't do anything and nothing would change, but I'm actually doing better! For real! It feels kind of bizarre, having changed so drastically in the span of maybe two months after spending so long feeling like garbage, but it's a very, very good kind of bizarre.
I've only posted here one or two times, but I was in quite a rough patch and the people who responded genuinely made me feel a lot better. So thank you, everyone, so very much!

I'm also on Citalopram, have been for years. I also take Trazadone just a half of the lowest dose to help me get deep sleep. Life can have its challenges take good care of yourself and you can get thru anything. Get lots of exercise, the nerotransmitters in your brain will rev up and you will feel like a new person!

I'm on Citalopram too (Celexa) - and have been for 10 years! I have bipolar, but mostly mania. I just had one major depressive episode 10 years ago. All my meds are working. Maybe I am a little unmotivated but it beats being manic or depressed.
