Default Blame it on the weather man

My depression she said.
Like she owned it.
She thought it made
Her stand out from others
And was in no
Rush to seek treatment for it.
I would say: the depression.
I have always been reluctant
To blame the mood disorder
For any of my transgressions.
But some things I said
Was - the mood disorder.
I lost control of it.

Default Holiday photos. NOT my fault

I was just me on the holiday.
I was not stroppy or moody.
It was nothing to do
With being a teenager.
I just was not enthusiastic.
David put his chair
Back on me on the flight there.
He got sun stroke after
One day in the sun
Threw up and asked
Me to clean up HIS puke!
I refused and my ol'mum did it.
They promised that I
Could go into town and shop
But did they let me ?? No.
All my parents wanted
To do was drink the lager
During the day because
They never did that at home.
I never got on with my ol'mum
At home and I was not keen,
To go on the holiday.
But I did try. I went everywhere
With them, beach one day,
Shopping and around the marina
The next day. I enjoyed walking
In the sun instead of
Being stuck at pool.
We stayed in the complex
Most of the time and
I am an explorer, I wanted
To see the sights.
I did not ruin the holiday.
It could have been a nice holiday.
But that would have been boring!!
No stories of tragic mishaps.
They were not going
To sit in the pub and
Say we had the most amazing holiday.
The weather was spot on.
Paul played football.
Laura went snorkling and shopping.
That was no pub story.

You listen to boys music.
Me: Those jeans look boyish
You act and behave like a boy
I would never get away
With the things you say.

They never acknowledged me
I sat down at the table
And asked whats up, you fine?
And he just ignored me.
No hello , I am fine, you?
And the boss said:
He is just chilling.
I felt like I was in the wrong.

Default Bowling

Nobody is hyper tonight.
We were all moving on
And growing up.
I think I was genuinely
In a good mood.
And my friend was
Always bubbly and
It rubbed off on me.
I was training alongside
The squad and I had
A boyfriend. Life was good.

Default Stalker board

I had not seen someone
Famous up close in my hometown.
And I knocked my drink over.
My pal went up and hugged him.
I went closer to see if
It was him like some
Crazed girl fan. I am not,
Sure why my pal never
Asked him to get a photo
To put up on her stalker
Board as we all called it.
Mr Sugden is undoubtedly
Ruggedly handsome and
I was such a big girls blouse.

I avoided eye contact
While slow dancing.
When we did kiss. His
Best pal at the time
Gave him a ribbing
For not French kissing;
Minus tongue is
Like a knat, he joked.
Was still a nice kiss.

Default Sticks and bricks

I was really young.
I was not the one
Pulling mooners in
The middle of busy roads.
Yelling to the police
That there is no
Black in the union jack.
My suit had started
To wear away.
It was my ol'mums fault.
We picked the
Wrong girls to
Throw bricks at.
I was never a fighter,
I avoided confrontation.
Sport was different.
Being competitive does
Not make a person
Look for fights.
I never fought back when they
Said look at that bit
Of your suit, I threw
In the towel. I was
Just slightly embarrassed
And even when
I felt angry later,
I timidly asked
If I could get a new one.
I never set out
To start a ruckus.
I was no roughian.
