Default A song about mental health and addiction

Would appreciate a listen
https://soundcloud.com/jackthelaughi...l-time-benzlow

Lyrics:

Let's find happiness in chemical concoctions
Let's sweat out the toxins

Cause we're on a diet of benzodiazepines
And weed
And alcohol
Are we proud?
No, not at all
No, not at all

We've hit our all time low
On the floor with a benzo
Hahahaha

I'm on the floor
I'm on the floor
I'm on ahah

A diet of benzodiazepines and weed
And alcohol
Am I proud ?
No, not at all
No, not at all...

Jack The Laughing Boy, I like the music chosen but did not like the vocals. It was just to eerie, having said this a person unfamiliar with the effects of taking psychotic meds would truly get the jist of what it feels like to have your mind altered by meds. I like the lyrics a lot. Thanks for sharing. I hope others will take time and listen, I would love to know others intake of this song. It is still a very talented piece.

Hmm, I don't know... I agree with Olanza-what? that the music is sort of eerie, but that didn't turn me off. It seems likely that if a person was an addict, their brain-addled states might feel much like this song. I wanted more lyrics, and for the song to be a bit longer. Maybe another minute, describing what this state is like.
