Default Never gave this one a name....

The thumping of a million warrior hearts
Moving too fast for reality
The cry's of the damned echo
Between the tears of pure joy

The grunting and moaning
Sighing and thrusting
Contorting in directions not human
Breathing shallow and deep at the same time

Smiles creep across their faces
Skin reflecting the fire and moon
Mother earth trampled below their bodies
But smiles with their energy

The pounding of a million loverís hearts
Moving too slow for reality
The cry's of the blessed echo
Between the tears of pure ecstasy

The fire moves with the spirits
The spirits moves with the winds freedom
The wind shakes the tree of life
The trees thump with the hearts of all that lives.

The beating slowly goes quiet
But they still move with the drum of life
The healing of Gaia begins again
In the eternal dance we all move as one

Your wind imagery caught me. I went hiking with a friend yesterday, and one of the things I noticed on the way up the mountain was tall stalks of grass already bearing seed pods, this early in the year. A breeze blew, and the grass stalks and leaves and seed pods all knocked against each other and made a pleasant susurrus.

Nature images are always a big hit with me. Nice work.

I thought this was a wildly loving earth moving poem. You don't have to give it a name, let the imagination of the reader run wild with it, I know I did. I read it over a few times and each time I gathered something different and came up with different names. I found this very entertaining and enlightening.

Thank you all. It takes a lot for me to post anything i've wrote or let anyone read what i've wrote thanks to a teacher i respected in High School telling me my stuff wasn't good.

Hmm, perhaps the teacher was threatened by your gift? I so happy that you did not listen to that teacher and chose instead to follow your heart....keep writing, you're a talented writer.
