Due to circumstances beyond my control, I expect to be homeless this summer. My family's house has to be sold to pay off debts left behind after my parents died.
I'm looking for basically a room to rent for $300 or less for at least 6 months. I work only part-time but I am actively looking for a second.
A majority of my belongings will be put into storage so I'll have just clothing and other necessities.
I work/live in Boston and hope to remain so. I have feelers out in the housing programs etc..

I would appreciate any referrals/ideas. Thank you.

Hi, Rachel. How about a reverse mortgage? Are you not qualified? I'm not sure what the qualifications are.

I think you will be able to find housing. I'm sorry, things look bad, but I think it will work out OK.

Not qualified for one. Deed is not in my name. We are going through the probate process.

Maybe you could get a list of Bread and Breakfast houses in your area and arrange to rent a room for the summer?

Oops, i meant bed and breakfast! If there are any in your city or close by city or town.
