I've used up all of today's spoons as well as some of tomorrow's ... Got most of my chores done, though ... Will spend tomorrow resting up so I can be all bright and shiny for work come Monday morning - even though a cold front will be moving in, and like lizardlady before me up there, I already know it's gonna wreak havoc on every inch of my body inside and out!

I decided to give myself a break this weekend. Not going to Mom's to work on stuff at all this weekend. Putter around the house a bit yesterday and will again today, but am spending most of my time vegged out on the sofa reading and/or watching DVDs.

Pain level is through the roof this weekend with a cold front moving through. I love the weather this time of year, but it kills me.

how did yesterday get so bad.

seriously.. it was one of the worst days for my pain in a long time

today better be good, not sure I can cope with a repeat of yesterday- no energy, no comfort, etc

deffenetly one of those days where you just think what's the point?

why am I here?

I honestly don't know why things are so bad half the time, I think half the time I'm just fed up of life and thinking... oh not again, and half the time
i just focus on all my regrets

like today.. not really much of a reason to be depressed,

but you know... today I sat in a chair and filled up on junkfood

go me. where's my medal. that sort of thing

(yes this post had nothing to do with pain but in a venting mood)

So in addition to advanced osteoarthritis all over my body, an excruciatingly painful right hip from an old injury (that requires a cane for walking), fibromyalgia, and all the chronic pain associated with that, now to top it off, I've got a rather nasty dose of cellulitis (staph infection) in my right foot!

The antibiotic to treat that is a beast (making me nauseous and headache, etc.), so my PCP phoned in an anti-nausea medication and I went and picked it up this morning. As I was taking it, a rather strange thought popped into my mind and I couldn't help but chuckle over it ...

As long as everything stays on my right side, I'm going to be okay, but if anything ever goes wrong with my left side, I'm totally effed!

Humor Intact!

She didn't want to come in to her kennel. Now McGee is sleeping between me and hubby everynight kinda like he is afraid something is going to happen to us. He's glued to be during the day
