Definitely when it is colder, but also when it drops in temperature quite suddenly.

Fibro here. Definitely worst in the cold, but too hot and I'm worse off too. I've always had a hard time with direct heat and sun, but since my fibro has started to intensify over the last few years, both heat and cold make me want to curl up into a little ball.

It's actually my husband who has the chronic pain (CRPS - chronic regional pain syndrome), so I didn't answer the poll for him, but yes, weather definitely affects his pain. Cold causes achiness. Heat causes swelling. Constant battle.

Rheumatism; dropping barometer, rising humidity. Instant pain. My old bones hurt so bad I can't stand to be in my own skin. Ol' cowboy told me to get a big bottle of whiskey and drink it, when it's empty if you still hurt use the bottle to knock yourself in the head and get some sleep. Works every-time.
