well, i guess what goes up, must come down,,, O.O

i definitely do NOT like my Pdoc. he's presumptuous, domineering and self-important. i am more and more convinced he's a sociopath. sadly, the agency for our 3 counties is eating him alive; he's lost too much weight and looks like someone beat him with an Ugly Stick. i'd feel sorry for him if his incompetence wasn't making so many other people suffer.

he was 40 minutes late, and i ride the little bus,, by the time i got to the stop and waited, my back was screaming at me, and my feet were singing harmony....
i just promised Jan i would check in, but the site has been down.... so i'm off to my soft and cozy...

Oh my goodness, Gus! I'm horrified about your pdoc! I wish so much you were not stuck with him! Did he give you your medicine, at least? Are you feeling any better?

I didn't know anyone outside of WV knew the term, ugly stick!

Hi Trav, it's good to see you!

Christina, my heart just breaks for you. I hope the anger finds someway to leave you.

Liz, thank you for being a pocket rider. I really appreciate it!

I went to the eye Dr. He examined both of them over and over again. I just bought new glasses in Sept. that I couldn't afford, and I told him I couldn't see at all out of them. I was just sure he was going to tell me something awful was happening to me.

The first thing he told me is that both eyes are infected again. That goes with the Sjogren's.

Then he told me that my eye sight in both eyes has mysteriously changed to 20/20 vision! I normally have terrible eye sight. I almost fell out of the chair! I have been wearing glasses since I was 8 or 9 years old. I prayed fervently to not have glasses because they got in the way of climbing trees and hanging upside down and all the other things tomboys do. Now, after all these years, I don't need glasses except to read. I feel so weird without them and it reinforced my belief in miracles.

Today Belle and I went for a walk and a giant dog swooped in on us. She got in front of me and started growling at him. I grabbed her and held her high, but he seemed pretty friendly so I lowered her head a little bit. She promptly bent down and licked his nose! I sat her down but was so afraid he'd eat her for a snack, but he was gentle with her. I patted him and he went home and Belle thought she was very brave!

The Fibromyalgia check in thread #3

thanks for sharing little miss Belle with us, Jan~!

i have to get to the pharmacy for my med (all i use is valium, and that mostly for restless legs ,, i saw an OTC med last time i was at the market, so i can 'outlast' that doc... he's doomed to early burnout)
, of course nothing works on Thursday,,,, so i'm giving myself a long weekend~!

i hope you all manage to avoid singeing your feathers this Thanksgiving~! i tend to have my holiday dinners a few days before or after D-Day, to avoid that 'alone' feeling. this year i had a crab for dinner, and angel food cake~

I love your rose pics, Gus. Thank you. I hope all goes well at the pharmacy. I'm glad you enjoyed your dinner. I've been living on biscuits and dry toast but I bought some food to cook on Thanksgiving. Of course, Belle will have to have a tiny taste of everything!

I'm up really early. I have to have a liver ultrasound this morning and have to be there at 8:45. It's a long drive. Of course, I have to be NPO and I actually woke up thirsty and hungry. I'm never hungry! So it goes.

We've already reached the high for the day and it's now down to 42. It's going down from there, so I'll have to dress warmly. After the ultrasound I need to drive to the opposite end of the valley and get a new driver's license with the paper my eye Dr. gave me which states I don't need glasses to drive. Surely it won't be crowded this time of morning at the DMV. The last time I had to go there I had to wait 3 1/2 hours to be served. Anyway, I'm taking pocket riders with me this morning. I need you.

Be safe today. Love to all!

I guess I shall join the tense muscles bandwagon, after last werkís pseudo seizure. I am learning to recognize my muscles and work at relaxing them. Also letting my tongue relax! and let my teeth stop grinding.
