Hello, I have very similar symptoms to sensory processing disorder but I do believe that my problem is anxiety-related rather than merely physical. What makes me think this is that I haven't always suffered from those symptoms and I am now an adult, never had those problems as a child, while SPD seems to mostly affect children. On top of that, my symptom seem to improve when I am in a good state of mind. Would you like to discuss this topic further? I am desperate to find an explanation so that I can address this issue.

Are you sure you've posted in the right forum? I can't link what you've written with my experience of BDD at all, I'm afraid. You might need to give more detail.

Hi, I'm not sure why a new thread was open, this was a reply to someone else's thread. Which is why my message doesn't make sense on its own. I was quoting what someone else had said. I have already posted this in the anxiety and OCD section in a new topic though! Thank you for reading anyway.
