Default I also saw my pdoc

I saw my pdoc today. I can only see my pdoc every three to four months. I snuck in one month after my last pdoc appointment with another doctor. He increased my dosage of Fluoxetine by 20 mg. I was there for a different reason. I showed him the blood test results from being arrested for a DUI. He wrote me a letter for my attorney that stated the med identified with the blood test could not of caused my DUI. This is good news. However, he thinks I need to go to a neurologist. But my PCP just told me to get back with him if it happens again. What?? Next time can kill someone else on the road, even myself. I have not seen my regular pdoc in about half a year. He was in Canada for three months.

So now I am on two stimulating antidepressants, actually three if low dose Mirtazapine for sleep is counted, two used as mood stabilizers, and an anti anxiety med. Oh yes, a med for my shaking hands which is a side effect of my AP. My med cocktale goes up and down. What does this make, SEVEN meds? Is this normal? Is this going to cause me more side effects?

I was on 6 meds total for a long time. Things changed, weight primarily, and I didn't need those any more. Weight very much affected my psych meds too. Dosages decreased and one new one was eventually added.
The point is, all meds seem to get shifted around.

Why did he say your blood test negated the DUI? What med? And were you drunk? How/why did you get arrested?

I have been only taking my prescribed psychotropic meds at prescribed dosages. I was not on other meds like pain killers. I was not drinking, and I did not take ant illicit drugs. The blood test found only lorazepam in my blood at well below the therapeutic range. Every now and then I was taking 1 mg at bedtime to help me sleep. My doctor wrote a letter stating that the med at this amount did not cause the DUI.

The day I was arrested, I was blanking in and out for a period of time. First I was in my townhome. Then I found myself in a parking lot of a grocery store. There was a woman there screaming at me that I almost hit her and her daughter. She told me that I went through two red lights. Next I found myself at home again. The police knocked at my door and arrested me. Next I found myself sitting in a chair at the police station. Just when they were through taking my blood, I blanked out again to find myself back home again. I asked my neighbor how I got back home. She told me that the police telephoned her for her to take me home. Now this is the interesting part. When she was taking me home, we stopped off at a convenience store for some hotdogs. I asked her if I was slurring my words or staggering in my walk. She told me this did not happen. She said to me that I just seemed a little destracted. My doctor thinks there may be something physically wrong with me, so he wants me to see a neurologist.
