Default Cookbook?

Read my post in the BiPolar section for history.

I'm thinking that while I'm down and out, with my vast culinary knowledge and training and schooling that I may think about writing a cookbook for us. The Pysch Central Community. I thinking of making it humorous and enlightening. Give me some ideas that may help me along.

What would you like me kind of focus on, #1 I don't do pastry, I'm a savory Chef.

But I plan on making it fun so we can all relate. Gimme ideas, and maybe in a few months or later this year I should have something created.

Thx
Chandler

Don't give up on the cookbook, I think your thread got buried??
I'll ask my husband & mom about any ideas, I don't cook...

During this time off for getting yourself feeling better you will be in my thoughts & prayers.

PS. Thread you posted on your psych ward trips was immensely intriguing.
Feel sorta guilty saying I enjoyed reading it.
It was kinda like the movie.

Wonderful idea! since I'm just a cook, What is a savory Chef compared to being a Chef?

Are you looking for what we all would like to eat or for our favorite recipes for you to play with and make great?

I'm looking forward to more threads here!

I've heard Rachel Ray use this term, she says she doesn't make cake or cookies, stuff like that, where people say you have to measure to the ounce or quarter-teaspoon? I can relate to that! I'm more into, burn that meat and throw in another onion!

I don't do pastry arts. I never have had the patience for it.

Well, I'll tell you what I would love, and that is recipes for foods that are healthy that we don't have any idea what to do with them
Like beans.. ok, beans 'n rice get old. What else can I do with them? Particularly if I am trying to replace meat with beans?
Or kale, and that beautiful swiss chard!

Okay, thanks for that information chandler!

Since I'm really trying to eat in a healthier way I'd love to learn more about making good food and making it look great too. Until I watched some of the TV chefs, I hadn't heard of the term, "Plating' the whatever. Back home it was just called, dish up what you want, or help yourself. just plain talk. Maybe we can learn some new vocabulary from your cook book too.

I really am looking forward to your book.

See here folks, I wouldn't be using an old rag in the kitchen if I were "plating" the food, I'd just lick it off.
