I am in there for 20-25 min. Lots of things to shave. Hair needs lots of conditioner.

It is a very long time for a shower. Do you have to pay for water? That shower will be costing you a bundle and using gallons and gallons of fresh water.

You can always change the shower head to a water saver.

The alternative is to take a bath with bubbles????

That's long! Better to have a bath if you want to wash for that much time...

I remember something about you should try to limit your shower to 6-8 minutes. Here are some stats:

Water Calculator Methodology - National Geographic

They estimate 100 gallons per day indoor use, which is 5% of your total average use embedded in products such as food, cotton, etc. Also,

>Showers According to Aquacraft [the EPA consultant], average daily water use from showerheads is 11.6 gallons per capita per day (gpcd) in a standard home, 8.7 gpcd in a conserving home.
...

>How Often You Shower, and For How LongAquacraft’s baselines assume that the average person takes five showers a week at eight minutes each.

So if someone's shower is 3-4 times as long as the average, this is pretty extreme, and might increase their indoor use by 33gallons/100gallons or up to 1/3.

I'm assuming this is the renter and yes 20-30 is too long for a man. If this was a woman with long hair and legs to shave .....20 mins would do. I agree with Hanksters subtle hint. Only trouble is getting him to cooperate. Most adults don't want to be told how long to shower. Its hard living with family let alone strangers. I know its frustrating because before I had kids, we split up a house into units for rent.

Thanks Possum.. I doubt he'd take a bath and yes, we pay for water. The water bill isn't all that high. Just what does one male do for 30 minutes in the shower? Good thing is the bathroom upstairs should be finished this weekend .. But that is what they said about last weekend.. ugh

Thanks H3rmit for the link.. Interesting stats. ANd he showers every day which means he is wasting a lot of water. I will mentioned it to AJ and let him talk to the renter..
