Default Down down down

So I joined here a couple of days ago...I'm not sure what I want to say, except that I know I need to get things off my chest because I feel like I will go crazy otherwise!

I seem to be going through a low right now. My moods change a lot, I also was diagnosed with BPD. Normally I can tell if it's just a dip, or whether it will be something more serious.

Right now I feel like I'm headed into a bad episode. I've been drinking more these last couple of weeks, this is never a good sign. I ended up self harming a couple of days ago too. First time in a while, I've been pretty good this year. Maybe just a couple of times, compared to every day the last few years! It's on my mind a lot now though.

I'm sure there is more I want to say, I just can't remember right now.

Hi TheGrace, welcome to PC. I'm glad that you have joined us and let us hear your story. I am sorry that things are taking a turn for the worst. Is there someone who you can contact to help you get some help before it gets bad? You must be seeing somebody if you have a specific diagnosis. You should probably get in touch with them really soon so you can get out of this quickly. If you don't have anyone in particular maybe you could go to a clinic or call a community help line. You need to get help as soon as you can. OK?
In the meantime post here as often as you want to and get everything off of your chest--as you said. I hope you feel better soon.

I am seeing a therapist fortnightly. I last saw him Wednesday and he's aware things are headed downwards again. It's annoying, I feel like everything is brewing inside of me, waiting to explode. But really there is nothing. I'm empty, but I feel like I might also explode. How does that even make sense?

Of course this makes sense to anyone with mental issues. You aren't the only one to feel contradictory emotions at the same time. At least don't feel bad about that.
I'm glad you are seeing someone. I hope he can help you back up again.
