Default Just tired

Does anybody else feel like the world is just crushing them sometimes?

Actually I have no real reason to feel this way. I'm getting good grades in school, my family has no divorces or problems, no deaths in the family, so why do I feel this way?

There are days when I feel as if I can't cope with evening going on around me.

Am I just being weak?

It might be that during your upbringing you have been programmed to believe that you don't have the right to be happy. So you are at a good place in your life and the programming which came from outside of yourself is telling you you are not allowed to enjoy what you have. But if you change your belief system you can have that happiness instead of going to a psych and getting programmed to tell you you are an anxiety/depression and have to take a pill.

There can be many reason. May be like you said, you are tire.
May be not enough rest ?
If you think everything is fine, you are doing what you like etc, then may be it's chemical problem in the body ??
Even Thyroid problem can affect emotion too.

Like it could be you went to eat cookies and your mother put a control measure in to tell you to not eat all the cookies to spoil your dinner. It might have been good to hold back on the cookies for your sake but you are telling yourself wait a second. hold back on this, you are not allowed to enjoy anymore.

If you are getting enough rest and don't have anything else going on in your life (relationship issues, etc), I would see about getting bloodwork done as a start. And getting a therapist to talk about how you are feeling can help you figure out some of it, too.

it is not about being weak. as some have said, it could be medical, it could be chemical, but as you yourself said, you dont have the resources to cope with the many pressures you feel each day. life is a balancing act. you have your stressors on one side, your coping skills on the other. if you have enough coping skills to deal with the stressors, you will live in harmony,, not enough, you will suffer from anxiety and depression. so list out your stressors and seek resourses to deal with them. what coping skills can you put in place to more effectively deal with the things that are stressing you out. discover these things and you will find life will go smoother for you.
